Amber Glass Jars: Uses, Sizes and How to Source Them
What amber glass blocks, the stock sizes and finishes, closure options and how to specify them.
We hold child-resistant cannabis flower jars in stock all year — 1 oz through 6 oz, in both 57 mm and 60 mm finishes — with matching CR caps held in stock alongside them. We are not a factory that starts a production run once you order. We are a stock warehouse in China: orders leave in 48 working hours and arrive DDP at your door in any US or Canadian city, at one landed price with duty and freight already inside it.

Black and white are the two colours US and Canadian distributors buy most, and we hold both in both neck finishes. If your artwork runs on a white cap, it ships on the same 48-hour clock as black — no separate production run, no extra wait.
Every closure we hold for these jars is a push-and-turn child-resistant closure built to 16 CFR 1700.20 and classified under ASTM D3475 — the standards US state cannabis programs and Canadian packaging requirements reference. Tell us which jar and cap combination you are buying and we will send the matching test documentation with your quotation.
Duties on Chinese-origin glass containers entering the United States stack several measures on top of one another, and the combined structure has already changed more than once this year. For a distributor, the real exposure is not the rate itself — it is quoting a customer and then absorbing a change you did not see coming.
DDP removes that. The number we quote is the number you pay: duty, ocean freight, customs clearance and final delivery are all inside it, and we hold it for 30 days. You are not the importer of record, you do not advance the duty, and you do not re-quote a customer because of a policy change you had no control over.
Canada is the simpler side of the border: no Section 301 equivalent on these lines, and one federal framework instead of fifty state rulebooks. Many distributors start there for exactly that reason.
Send us the sizes and quantities you need plus your delivery city. We will reply within 24 hours with a DDP price to your door, valid for 30 days, and confirm current stock on each line.
They are standing stock lines that we hold year-round, in 57 mm and 60 mm finishes. Current quantities move week to week, so send us the sizes and quantities you need and we will confirm availability for your exact list on the day you ask.
3,000 pieces per order. You can reach that with a single size or by mixing sizes and both finishes in one order, so the practical minimum per size is much lower.
Yes. 1 oz through 6 oz, and both 57 mm and 60 mm, can go in the same order. Mixed-size cartons are how most distributors start with us.
Duty, ocean freight, customs clearance and delivery to your address. The number we quote is the number you pay — there is no separate customs bill waiting for you at the port.
Goods leave within 48 working hours of order confirmation. Weekends and Chinese public holidays are excluded — if you tell us your deadline we will confirm a date before you order.
Yes — DDP to any city in the United States or Canada. Canada is the simpler of the two: there is no Section 301 equivalent on these lines and the federal framework is one set of rules rather than fifty state ones.
Every closure we hold for these jars is a push-and-turn child-resistant closure built to 16 CFR 1700.20 and classified under ASTM D3475. Tell us which jar and cap combination you are buying and we will send the matching test documentation with your quote.
Your price does not change. DDP means we carry the duty risk, and we hold DDP quotes for 30 days. That is the point of it — you should not have to re-quote a customer because of a policy change you could not control.
Yes — both, in both neck finishes. Black and white are the two colours North American distributors buy most, so we hold them as standing stock rather than making them to order: 57 mm in black and white, 60 mm in black and white. If your label artwork is built around a white cap, it does not add lead time — it ships on the same 48-hour clock.
No. 5 oz is a 60 mm jar only (60 × 91 mm, 90 pieces per carton). The 57 mm series runs 2, 3, 4 and 6 oz.
Yes, samples ship from the same stock. Tell us which sizes you want to see and we will send them with the DDP quotation.
